If you have or are considering pool tables for customer entertainment, please read on. Pool tables can generate considerable business if handled properly. A good staff is the most important part in controlling you tables but a good and reliable league is also necessary. Choosing the right league is the purpose of this letter.

The Southern Nevada "9" Ball Tavern Owners Association is the right league. I have been sponsoring or playing on teams since the early 80's. I have seen leagues run off with the money in mid season and have seen leagues fold after one or two years. The S.N.9B.T.O.A. is the only league to last over 30 years. They are also the best league in town when it comes to creating New Players. Some leagues cater to the real good players and end up running off or discouraging novice players. These same leagues also have a limited number of participating bars. Let's face it, the more teams and bars involved, translates to more money for us all. S.N.9B.T.O.A. has fielded more than 400 teams in one season with many of the teams being made up of novice players. When novice teams play other novice teams they have a great time. When novice teams play ringers, they stop playing. I have also found that novice players party more than the soda drinking ringers. Trying to build a new team of your regular customers will have a better chance of success if they start out in a beginners division.Remember, your teams will bring in teams from other bars which also helps showcase your business. Which can and does lead to new customers.

More teams, more experience and unmatched reliablility are not the only reason to consider S.N.9B.T.O.A., they have also created a format for their leagues which is bar owner and player friendly.
